FAQ

What’s the difference between normal masonry paint and a wall coating?

Wall coatings are made from a flexible resin and are much thicker than ordinary paint. They expand and contract with the building and are micro-porous — which means they prevent water ingress but let internal moisture escape. Ordinary paint can crack, peel and blister over time.

How can wall coatings keep water out while still letting moisture escape?

Think of wall coating like high-performance sportswear (e.g., Gore-Tex). Rain droplets are too big to penetrate, but water vapor can escape, allowing walls to breathe and dry naturally.

Do wall coatings cost more than traditional exterior house painting?

Although wall coatings may be slightly more expensive to apply initially, they last significantly longer than regular paint, reducing long-term maintenance and repainting costs.

Why are wall coatings applied by spray?

Wall coatings are much thicker than standard paint, so spraying ensures an even, protective coverage. The team carefully masks off all areas and protects plants, ensuring no mess.

Does the wall coating system take long to apply?

Yes — because of the preparation (cleaning, repairs, masking), coating takes longer than brush painting. The coating becomes touch-dry quickly (20 minutes–1 hour), but full curing takes about 5–7 days.

How long can I expect the wall coating to last?

Many coated homes from over 20 years ago still look as good as new. All work using the coating products (materials and labor) is backed by a 15-year written guarantee.

How easy is it to care for and maintain?

Wall coatings require minimal maintenance. In areas with heavy airborne pollution, a brush or power wash every 5–10 years will restore appearance.tu texto aquí...
